EMERGENCY DENTAL CARE FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN

During an emergency you need an experienced and compassionate professional, we offer that support.  Should you require emergency dental care for such problems as pain, swelling or trauma, our dental practice will endeavour to see you as promptly as possible. 

AFTER HOURS EMERGENCIES 

Dental emergencies include accidents involving your teeth or mouth, toothache, bleeding, infections and swelling. Always seek dental treatment when a dental emergency occurs to improve the chance of saving the tooth or teeth and preventing infections from occurring or becoming more serious. 

After Hours Call Back – After hours services require more resources and time.

To reflect this a surcharge of $170 needs to be charged to cover the practice overheads. This is on top of the fee for the care required.

PLEASE NOTE:  MOST health insurance companies do NOT contribute to this surcharge. (This service will most likely be an out of pocket expense for you)To secure an after hour emergency appointment you will be required to pay this fee in advance.

The fee for the actual emergency service is $300 – $450 depending on the time and resources required.

TOTAL EXPECTED COST $470 – $620 depending on the time and resources required. Your Health Insurance should contribute to this fee, depending on the level of cover you have.

We will endeavour to make your experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The Cost of this appointment will depend on the extent of the Emergency.

If you have health insurance, your insurance will pay most or a good proportion of this service, depending on your level of cover.
